Course Description

First stage of multi-level College and Career Readiness System of Study (CCR-SOS) that advances intellectual curiosity, conscientiousness, dependability, emotional stability, and perseverance through tasks that foster deeper levels of thinking and reasoning in the four core content areas. The Path secondary course series focuses on developing the habits and skills that are expected in college study and the workforce.

Checklist for the Last 4 Weeks for Juniors

Fill out your academic resume, (See the College Organizer). Create a professional version that could be updated at any time.

Make a list of who will write recommendation letters. Ask them face to face what they prefer in order to assist them to write it.

Check yourself on social media. Make certain the nothing is up that you wouldn’t mind a college recruiter or scholarship panel to see.

Last shot at volunteering for college applications. First make certain your have both hours connected to school and outside of school. Make certain you have leadership experience.

Plan colleges visits. Check what’s available at school.

Ask all of your senior friends for tips on college apps and scholarships. Plan which scholarships you’ll apply to this time next year on a calendar or in the College Organizer.

Get your college list down to no more than 8. Research which applications you must fill out for them and register by starting log ins and passwords. Check out their open dates and due dates.
