Four Year Timeline

Here's the Big Picture, the timeline for high school in a summary version which will ease anxiety over what the focus is supposed to be each year.


#1- Freshman Year-

Get acquainted with your Grad Plan and Course Catalog/Clubs/Activities

Learn your best strategies in note taking, organizing, planning, and how to communicate with your teachers.


#2- Sophomore Year-

PSAT-1st Take

Increase time for extracurricular activities to at least 5 hours a week.

Build your academic resume to include two items per category.


#3- Junior Year-

1st Semester

Begin College Searches,

PSAT Scholarship Counting Year,

Aptitude Tests for Career and College Major Interests,

2nd Semester-

List of Colleges Finalized,

SAT and/or ACT taken 1st time, College Visits


#4- Senior Year-

1st Semester-SAT/ACT retakes for higher scores, College Apps, Financial Aid Apps,

2nd Semester- College Acceptances, Final Decision for Higher Ed, College Budgeting
