Where's Your Scholarship Chart?

Updated: Nov 26, 2019

Prepare yourself for how exhausting it is. Scholarship lists tend to come in long bulletins that you scroll through. Half of them you don't qualify for.

It won't be fun. You will not earn money just because you filled out the application.

You need to treat this like a job. The more applications you fill out, the more chances you have to win a scholarship. Spend

#1. Create a Google Sheet to college scholarship information that you can apply to with a high chance of being selected.

Column titles can be (but shouldn't limited to):

Scholarship Name

Organization or University

Award amount

Link to scholarship information

Application Length

Essay Prompt and Length Requirement

Due dates

#2. Share this chart with the rest of your support team who can help add to it. Then, start from the scholarship on the top of your list and start getting through their application process. Treat it like a part time job while not letting it get in the way of your senior year school work.

#3. Aim to apply to 2 scholarships a month.
